Our Backyard

A flight in a 1935 Tiger Moth offers visitors an exciting introduction to Central Hawke's Bay’s wonderful landscape of beaches, rivers, farms and mountains.

From the highest point of Oruawharo’s farmland, the view takes in the Three Sisters, limestone outcrops, the left of which was once the site of a Maori pa.  Behind, the Ruahine Ranges are covered in winter snow.
