Enjoying tea at Oruawharo is the opportunity to participate in the gentry lifestyle of the founders. We'll be hosting you in St Vincent's Church & after you have indulged yourself we will take you on a guided tour of the beautiful 150 year old historic property. Tickets sold prior to the event.

About the event
Come try a selection of our specialist teas before taking a tour of the Estate and grounds of the historic Oruawharo Homestead. We also have local Hawthrone coffee available and the bar is open too. (Try as many teas as you like)
St Vincent's would love you to spoil yourself with our elegant meal of scones, jam & cream + sandwiches + savouries + sweets, all made from scratch by Chef Will, while a slideshow of Oruawharo's History plays in the background.
A guided tour will follow giving you the opportunity to fully appreciate the complexity of the property's past.
Embrace the theme and come dressed up in your Art Deco style attire.

Tickets are $70 per person and sold prior to the event
Infants (0–1 year of age) free and not catered for.

- Arrival at 11am
- High Tea served between 11am and 11:20am
- Followed by a guided tour of the beautiful 150 year old historic Estate
The bar will open for juices, beers, bubbles & wines.
On the day you can purchase:
- A variety of Teas at $16 per 100g tin, Green, Black & Fruit Teas available
- Cast iron pots at $50 per pot, Red or Black
We except Cash & Eftpos.
Please note:
The High Tea will be hosted in St Vincent's Church, please bring warm clothes during winter dates.
We can not guarantee catered options for all dietary requirements for High Tea Days due to large numbers - Please contact us prior to purchasing tickets if you have questions.
Please keep in mind. The Homestead is an old heritage building that might not be accessible by all as there are stairs right through the building. We will try our best to accommodate where possible.
