Taking tea at Oruawharo is the opportunity to participate in the gentry lifestyle of the founders. We'll be hosting you in St Vincent's Church & after you have indulged yourself we will take you on a guided tour of the Homestead & Gardens. Bookings are essential via email: admin@oruawharo.com

About the event
Come try a selection of our 40+ specialist teas before taking a tour of the history and grounds of the historic Oruawharo Homestead.
St Vincent's would love you to spoil yourself with our elegant meal of scones, jam & cream + sandwiches + savouries + sweets, while a slideshow of Oruawharo's History plays in the background.
A guided tour will follow giving you the opportunity to fully appreciate the complexity of our past.

Arrival at 11am, High Tea served at 11:20am followed by a tour. The bar will also be open.
