Hiring our Venue

Venue Hire
St Vincent’s 200+ square meters of indoor dining space with additional fully functioning bar, kitchen, restrooms and AV system are one of the Hawke’s Bay most idyllic heritage venues. Accompanies by the 150 year old Oruawharo Homestead, surrounding gardens and outdoor areas. St Vincent’s is a versatile and truly unforgettable destination for any style of event. Enjoy our robust venue with peace of mind, knowing that your event will continue regardless of weather, forget the hassles and uncertainties of makeshift venues.

Exclusive hire for our facilities entitles you too use of the venue the day before and the day after for setting up, rehearsals and packing up afterward. A set up and clean up fee is included in the venue hire charge. Included in the hire is the use of outdoor chairs, inside chairs and tables with black table clothes, plates & cutlery.

For all function St Vincent’s will provide a staff member to help oversee and facilitate a smooth and unforgettable function.

A deposit is required upon booking as this secures your date.

Use of the Homestead has to be arranged upon booking your function.

Other Equipment Hire
PA systems for speeches etc can be hired
as well as additional function equipment.

Hiring our Services

St Vincent’s is a fully licenced premise and can provide 2 beverage options.

Option 1: BYO
This covers a bar manager from St Vincent’s staff and the St Vincent’s liquor license as well as the use of the glassware at a cost.

Option 2: Drinks package
We are able to fully facilitate drinks packages.
Please request our current beverage menu to select from.

All functions on our premise are required to follow our liquor license conditions and current liquor laws.


St Vincent’s has a fully licensed commercial kitchen, with 3 options

Option 1: Out-sourced catering
The hirer organises this option.

Option 2: Self-cater
The hirer is required to liaise with St Vincent’s in the format.

Option 3: St Vincent’s catering
St Vincent’s can work with you to create the perfect menu for your function.

Our Church building is licensed for up to 150 people.
